Forget Me Not Aims To Provide Up To Date Dementia Training To All In The Care Service Around Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk. I Have Worked In Social Care For Over 8 Years. Working Out In The Community And In Care Homes. I Have Also Been Involved With The Running Of A Day Centre Which Has Enabled Me To Look At Different Approaches To Activities And How They Make A Difference To A Person With Dementia. I Am Fully Committed And Passionate About Improving Practice And The Lives Of People With Dementia. I Believe That Excellence In Dementia Care Can Be Demonstrated By Recognising People As Individuals And Treating People With Dignity And Compassion. The Training Programme Helps New Carers Coming Into The Workplace To Understand And Improve The Environment And Well-being Of People With Dementia. The Sitting Service Provides Personal Care And Social Stimulation Within The ClientÂ’s Own Home Which Allows Respite For Carers. The Time Can Be Tailored To The ClientÂ’s Needs And Ability.
