Having a PhD in Metallurgy I am able to provide advice to engineering business to quickly identify equipment/component failure. I have been offering my services on a freelance consultancy basis in metallurgical investigations, failure analysis and problem solving for over 29 years.

My skills are based on both experience, trust and the ability to come to sound conclusions using both scientific and technical reasoning. Having honed my skills in South Africa I am able to provide a range of services to all industries to include mining and gas equipment and general engineering components and equipment. As a non affiliated business I am able to provide my investigative services to establish the reasons for a specific failure and to provide informed advice on how to avoid similar failures in future.
