We only look after pets on their own and have grown to become one of the most respected pet cremation services in the UK for our personal, gentle and respectful care of the pets we are entrusted with. When choosing a pet crematorium it is important that you ask the right questions and make an informed decision. We have stuck to our principles of giving the very best send-off to each and every pet. We guarantee our responsive service will be completely open and honest, giving you total peace of mind that your pet, however large or small, will be properly looked after on their final journey by us. We promise that you will receive the same high standard of care whether you bring your pet to Dignity yourself or we collect them from your vet on your behalf and have explained our pet cremation procedures in full to give you complete confidence that only your much loved pet is returned to you. No matter whether they are a horse, dog, cat, rabbit or hamster we promise they are all looked after with great care by us.
Establishment: Dignity Pet Crematorium was founded by Barry and Carole Spurgeon in 1992. As a family we have always had pets of all shapes and sizes and we know first-hand the joy they bring to our lives. We started Dignity because we watched a disturbing documentary and wanted to help owners have the choice of giving their pets a better send-off than what happens when they are just left at the vets to be taken away each week alongside clinical waste.
Areas we cover: We are able to personalise our service and can collect your pet from your home or from your veterinary surgery. We cover the South coast up to London and beyond if asked! All we need is a telephone call on 01252 844572 to make the arrangements. Alternatively you can bring your pet to us and say goodbye in the privacy of our Farewell Rooms™. You will need to make an appointment with us prior to coming to Dignity.
We guarantee your pet will be looked after gently and respectfully and they will be cremated completely on their own within an enclosed chamber and you will receive only your pet's ashes back.Other services we provide: Pet Crematorium and Pet Cemetery

Assistance Dog Discount Scheme
In March 2009 we helped Allen Parton send off his world famous assistance dog Endal. The way Endal transformed Allen’s life really touched us and spurred us on to put together an official discount scheme. Since then Allen has gone on to set up Hounds for Heroes a charity that aims to provide specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled men and women of both the UK Armed Forces and Civilian Emergency Services. In recognition of the amazing work of these special pets we would like to offer their owners or handlers a discount of 10% off of the cost of their pet’s individual cremation. All we need is proof that your pet is currently used as or has been used as an assistance pet / service dog / search and rescue dog at the time of payment. Proof can be in the form of an ID tag, membership number etc. A copy will be taken by us and kept with the copies of the Client Form that are retained by Dignity.
