Mark Leonard (that's me) offers natural, creative reportage wedding photography throughout Bristol, the South West and UK. Providing a friendly, professional yet unobtrusive approach, I aim to document the full story of your day and present a stunning portfolio of images that captures all the fun, emotion and excitement of the occasion.

My approach to weddings has developed over the years toward a more relaxed photojournalistic, or 'reportage' style of photography, using a mixture of available light and a touch of creative flash. I shoot unobtrusive candid photos throughout the day with as little manipulation as possible, leaving you to enjoy more time with each other and your family and friends.

Some of the most expressive photographs at your wedding will be those which are captured in the moment – natural and unposed. Those moments can happen at any time too, not just for the eight hours you have your photographer penciled in for, so for that reason I always offer wedding photography with full day coverage as standard. A typical day includes 10-12 hours of photography and sometimes even longer, so there’s no need to worry about hourly limits, or if your day falls behind schedule. I start with the anticipation of the morning preparations as you’re both getting ready and finish late as you party into the night, ensuring I’m there to capture all the moments you wanted capturing, and all the little things you didn’t know had happened.

After your wedding youÂ’ll receive a disc of 350-500 carefully edited images, along with a reproduction license so youÂ’re free to print and distribute your photos to friends and family as much as you please.
