At Northstar we undertake qualitative research which is research that is carried out in the natural environment. Qualitative research does not rely on numbers, but rather is conducted in a number of different ways. For instance, our researchers might undertake unstructured interviews with consumers which involve asking open questions and allowing the respondent to reply using his or her own words.
