The Hope and Anchor is a traditional 17th Century family and dog-friendly pub with an award-winning beer garden. We offer a broad selection of quality ales, including a local ale, draft cider and various bottled varieties, a carefully chosen wine selection and a great range of premium spirits.

We have three letting rooms, and we are a popular venue for parties and events. Regarded as the premier music venue in the area, we provide live music every Saturday and host an open mic night and a folk and blues acoustic club once a month.

With customers ranging from 18-80 years of age, we clearly appeal to all and provide something for everyone, whether it's enjoying a game of bar billiards or darts, listening to any of the thousands of songs available on the jukebox or joining in the weekly quiz or monthly board games night.
