The Railway Inn

The Railway Inn is a proud traditional country pub who have been trading with the same family at the helm for the past 18 years. Known locally for our high quality homemade food and cask ales we are able to cater for all occasions including weddings, christenings, Funerals and Events evenings. In 2016 we were nominated to enter the Yorkshire White Rose Awards. The awards event was held in Harrogate and we entered the category 'Family traditional country pub' hundreds of business in Yorkshire entered and we were very proud to a finalist of 5 top establishments. We have also been recognised more locally by the Beverley Food Festival were they awards The Railway Inn with a 'Highly Commended' Awards for our commitment to using local produce. We attract a lot of keen walkers, cyclists and dog walkers. as we are located on the Hull to Hornsea track which is part of the larger Trans Pennies Way for the keen cyclists how wish to take on the adventure on cycling across the country from Southport to Hornsea. We have a lovely outdoor seating area, a perfect rest stop with secure bike racks and dog water bowls to let the keen out doors customers rest before continuing on their activities. We are also situated 1 mile from a very popular Yorkshire tourist attraction Burton Constable which is a stately home which hosts many events such as car shows, village fairs and more recently BBC's Antique's Road Show.
