Modish Living was created from a passion for the creation and design of one of a kind pieces of furniture from recycled and reclaimed wood. Modish Living originated from a love for making and creating pieces of furniture from ethically sourced reclaimed timber. Modish Living began as a |vision fuelled by a desire to make environmentally friendly furniture from reused wood. Modish Living emerged from the wish to make furniture which was ethical to the environment as well as one off pieces.

Modish Living came about due to a love for creating furniture made from recycled and reclaimed wood that was one of a kind. Material of this kind is a pleasure to utilize. The wood itself is weathered and treated by time, and whencombined with the Scandinavian style influences of the company's founders creates stylish and exclusive creations. Wood of this type is a delight to useto work with. The timber is aged and enhanced by time, and combined with the Nordic style

Modish Living has been born out of passion and love for furniture that can look amazing, stylish and be kind to the environment, through re-using materials and reducing waste. "We really don't like to see timber being buried or burnt, however we do like to have a positive impact on our environment wherever possible" is a quote by the Co-founders, Hellen & Chris Barlow.
